Office Manager
If you are an outgoing and friendly personality that likes to interact with people, see a welcome challenge in helping pets have a stress free vet visit, want to work in an environment that is never the exact same from day to day, are eager to help manage a team to create a healthy work environment, and enjoy learning and using that knowledge to help others, you’ve found the position to apply for at Broadway Veterinary Hospital! We’re an AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited small animal hospital. This means we go above and beyond the minimum state requirements to function as a hospital, and we want our team members to reach beyond the bare minimum as well. Our staff is Fear Free Certified to help pets have a great visit. The right candidate will also be able to help manage the office and team. We offer health care and a retirement plan to all full-time employees. We’re looking for the right person to join our team, and that person should provide a well written cover letter and resume either by mail, email, or in-person. Our hospital just relocated to a new facility in March of 2024, and we’re excited to share the new space with our furry friends!
This is a full-time position that requires a range of 35-40 hours each and every week.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Stellar customer service

- Previous experience in a general practice veterinary hospital
- The ability to remain calm under stressful situations
- The desire to maintain a clean work environment throughout the hospital
- Previous managerial experience
Important job requirements include:
- 2 years’ experience working in a veterinary practice preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in a managerial position
- Possible weekend and evening shifts
- Some overtime may be required
- Infinity (Impromed) software experience is preferred

Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian
Currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian for our Small Animal Veterinary Hospital located in Durham, North Carolina.

- Provide patients with a high level of patient care while thoroughly working up cases

- Lead a team of technicians
- Conduct physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in animals
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Prescribe medications and follow-up care plans
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Job Requirements:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution
- License and be eligible to practice Veterinary Medicine in the state of North Carolina
- Excellent computer software skills and proficient in electronic medical records
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with canine and feline care
- Soft tissue surgical experience

- Monitor hospitalized pets
- Perform routine in-house laboratory work
