Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian
Currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian for our Small Animal Veterinary Hospital located in Durham, North Carolina.

Additional Details of the Position
Here’s what you can expect to handle in this role on a routine basis:

- Work closely with our clients and their pets
- Provide patients with a high level of patient care while thoroughly working up cases
- Demonstrate excellent surgical techniques and dental skills
- Lead a team of technicians
- Conduct physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in animals
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Prescribe medications and follow-up care plans
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Job Requirements:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution
- License and be eligible to practice Veterinary Medicine in the state of North Carolina
- Excellent computer software skills and proficient in electronic medical records
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with canine and feline care
- Soft tissue surgical experience
- Dentistry experience

Full-Time Receptionist
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Receptionist for our Small Animal Veterinary Hospital located in Durham, North Carolina.
The ideal Receptionist at Broadway Veterinary Hospital will be a liaison between the hospital and clients. As the Receptionist, a day may include greeting our clients in person or over the phone, maintaining medical records for our patients, maintaining accounts, handling administrative duties, and more.
Additional Details of the Position
This position utilizes many skills, including:
- Clerical skills such as typing, handling mail, inventory, and more
- Customer Service skills for interacting with clients and their pets
- Knowledge of Veterinary Policies & Procedures
- Communicating and working with the entire staff of the hospital

This is a position that requires a range of 20-40 hours each and every week. Some of the expected responsibilities include:
- Work closely with our clients and their pets
- Assist veterinarians with the physical examination of pets
- Coordinating and assisting in anesthesia, surgery, and dental procedures
- Client education
- Collect samples on pets
- Monitor hospitalized pets
- Perform routine in-house laboratory work
