Full-Time or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian

Currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian for our Small Animal Veterinary Hospital located in Durham, North Carolina.

Full-Time Receptionist

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Receptionist for our Small Animal Veterinary Hospital located in Durham, North Carolina.

The ideal Receptionist at Broadway Veterinary Hospital will be a liaison between the hospital and clients. As the Receptionist, a day may include greeting our clients in person or over the phone, maintaining medical records for our patients, maintaining accounts, handling administrative duties, and more.

Additional Details of the Position

This position utilizes many skills, including:

  • Clerical skills such as typing, handling mail, inventory, and more
  • Customer Service skills for interacting with clients and their pets
  • Knowledge of Veterinary Policies & Procedures
  • Communicating and working with the entire staff of the hospital

Position type and expected hours of work:

  • Full or Part-Time
  • Shifts Monday – Friday
  • Possible weekend, evening and holiday shifts required
  • Overtime may be required

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous veterinary experience preferred

Full-Time Veterinary Technician

We are currently seeking a Veterinary Technician for a locally owned small animal Veterinary Hospital located in Durham, North Carolina.

Additional Details of the Position

This is a position that requires a range of 20-40 hours each and every week. Some of the expected responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with our clients and their pets
  • Assist veterinarians with the physical examination of pets
  • Coordinating and assisting in anesthesia, surgery, and dental procedures
  • Client education
  • Collect samples on pets
  • Monitor hospitalized pets
  • Perform routine in-house laboratory work

In Order to Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need To Have…

  • Acute attention to detail
  • A team player that comes ready to work. Leave the drama at the door!
  • Heavy lifting and extended periods of standing–you won’t even need to workout at the end of the day!
